When she’s not busy with school, she loves spending time exploring new places with her friends and making new memories.

  1. I chose to become an English Major because I’ve always loved English, and my amazing English teachers in high school truly inspired me to learn as much as I can and teach meaningful content to the next generation.
  2. My favorite part of being an English Major is reading new titles and picking the pieces apart to fully understand all the meanings in them that make the story come together, as well as having amazingly thoughtful discussions with my friends and classmates.
  3. The last book I read was Lady Tan’s Circle of Women by Lisa See.
  4. My favorite book is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith.
  5. A book character I identify with is Jane from Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
  6. The last book I bought was Real Americans by Rachel Khong, but I have not read it.
  7. My favorite book to movie adaptation is Matilda by Roald Dahl.
  8. I’m more of a reader than a writer.
  9. My favorite style of writing is narrative.
  10. My go-to children’s book is The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn.
  11. My favorite childhood memory is being able to move to many different places and meet many wonderful people and friends.
  12. Growing up, I was sure I would be a teacher.
    Upstate New York
  13. My first job was working as a summer camp counselor at a country club.
  14. My dream job is as a high school media specialist.
  15. I like to spend my free time reading, spending time with my best friends, and traveling to new places.
  16. The destination at the top of my travel bucket list is Stockholm, Sweden.
  17. The literary place I’d most like to visit is the city of Zaira from Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino.
  18. If I could move anywhere in the world, I’d live in Upstate New York.
  19. If I was stranded on a desert island, the three things I would bring with me are a Swiss army knife, a hammock, and my best friend.
  20. The one song I could listen to on repeat is Close My Eyes” by Luke Hemmings.
  21. The best gift I ever received was a small wooden jewelry box with hand carved roses on it.
  22. The best gift I’ve ever given is anything that I’ve given someone that is both useful and sentimental to them.
  23. If you find me in the kitchen, I’m typically whipping up a pizza.
  24. If I could try any food from a book or series, it would be the fried chicken from The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
  25. The author (dead or alive) I’d most like to spend a day with is Toni Morrison.
