Natalie Wolf is the High Plains Region Associate Student Representative and a member of the Alpha Theta Eta Chapter at Kansas State University, where she majors in English and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crafting, baking, and spending time with friends and cats. She likes cats more than is probably natural or healthy and claims that her favorite color is rainbow despite recognizing that it is not technically a color.

  2. I never leave the house without snacks of some kind.
  3. If I had to eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be strawberries!
  4. Growing up, I was sure I would be: I’ve always been interested in writing stories, but I didn’t have any job I was sure I’d have as a kid.
  5. I know every word to the song I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from Mulan.
  6. The best gift I’ve ever received was a really sweet scrapbook from my friend.
  7. My nickname in high school was: A few of my friends call me Nat, but I’ve never really had a nickname that a lot of people called me.
  8. If you find me in the kitchen, I’m typically whipping up cookies.
  9. I’m both a reader and a writer.
  10. The best paper title I ever created was “An Epic Domesticity.”

  12. My dream job is probably being an editor at a publishing house and a fiction writer on the side.
  13. An author I truly admire is Angie Thomas.
  14. My go-to children’s book is Ella Enchanted, by Gail Carson Levine.
  15. The destination at the top of my travel bucket list is El Camino de Santiago in Spain and France.
  16. My favorite part of being an English Major is getting to take classes specifically focused on creative writing.
  17. The last book I read was Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, by Ransom Riggs.

  19. My favorite bookstore is The Dusty Bookshelf in Lawrence, KS, and library book sales in general.
  20. In 10 years, I’m betting that the big trend in literature will be dystopian novels that comment on social or environmental issues.
