  1. I chose to become an English Major because I am a secondary education major and will be teaching English.
  2. My favorite part of being an English Major is meeting fellow English majors and nerding out over books.
  3. The last book I read was Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.
  4. My favorite book series is Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, and anything related to Jane Austen.
  5. A book character I identify with is Anne Elliot from Persuasion by Jane Austen.
  6. The last book I bought was The Other Bennet Sister by Janice Hadlow, but I have not yet read it.
  7. My favorite book to movie adaptation is Pride and Prejudice.
  8. I’m more of a reader than a writer.
  9. My favorite style of writing is: I don’t have one. I’m not much of a writer.
  10. My go-to children’s book is The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson.
  11. My favorite childhood memory is when a monkey escaped from a local zoo and ended up inside our house because my sister lured it in with dog food. The 911 operators didn’t believe my mom when she called and said a monkey was in our house.
  12. Growing up, I was sure I would be a Firefighter until I discovered I pass out at the sight of blood.
  13. My first job was working at McDonald’s.
  14. My dream job is to be a professional photographer.
  15. I like to spend my free time reading, crafting, spending time with my family and my dog, Charlie, and dabbling in photography.
  16. The destination at the top of my travel bucket list is going back to Scotland and exploring the highlands.
  17. The literary place I’d most like to visit is Pemberley, Mr. Darcy’s Home (in Lyme Park, Cheshire).
  18. If I could move anywhere in the world, I’d live anywhere in Scotland.
  19. If I was stranded on a desert island, the three things I would bring with me are my dog, unlimited supply of coffee, and a copy of Pride and Prejudice to read over and over.
  20. The one song I could listen to on repeat is Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen.
  21. The best gift I ever received was a keepsake box given to me on my eleventh birthday from my grandmother that belonged to her as a child.
  22. The best gift I’ve ever given is anything homemade.
  23. If you find me in the kitchen, I’m typically whipping up anything related to breakfast.
  24. If I could try any food from a book or series, it would be Potato Peel Pie from The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows.
  25. The author (dead or alive) I’d most like to spend a day with is Jane Austen.
