  1. I chose to become an English Major because it was my favorite subject in school and because it was the subject that I was best at. I chose it because it is the one thing that I could talk about for hours on end.
  2. My favorite part of being an English Major is the people. Some of my closest friends were found in my English department and through Sigma Tau Delta.
  3. The last book I read was This Summer Will Be Different by Carley Fortune.
  4. My favorite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
  5. A book character I identify with is Diana Bishop from Deborah Harkness’s A Discovery of Witches.
  6. The last book I bought was Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton, but I haven’t read it yet.
  7. My favorite book to movie adaptation is Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.
  8. I’m equally a reader and a writer.
  9. My favorite style of writing is creative.
  10. My go-to children’s book is Frog and Toad Together by Arnold Lobel.
  11. My favorite childhood memory is when I was in elementary school. My grandfather would pick me up from school and would have a cup of chocolate milk waiting for me in the car every day.
  12. Growing up, I was sure I would be a teacher.
  13. My first job was as an After School Teacher at a YMCA.
  14. My dream job teaching college or being an author.
  15. I like to spend my free time reading, obviously!
  16. The destination at the top of my travel bucket list is Yellowstone National Park.
  17. The literary place I’d most like to visit is The Eagle and Child in Oxford where C. S. Lewis and Tolkien were known for hanging out.
  18. If I could move anywhere in the world, I’d live in Montana or Wyoming.
  19. If I was stranded on a desert island, the three things I would bring with me are my husband, books, and food.
  20. The one song I could listen to on repeat is Hallelujah” by Panic! at the Disco.
  21. The best gift I ever received was my sister-in-law painted a picture of my husband and me for us for Christmas a few years back, and it is my favorite thing.
  22. The best gift I’ve ever given is an aluminum card I gave my husband for our first Christmas. It had a note written on it to go in his wallet.
  23. If you find me in the kitchen, I’m typically whipping up tacos.
  24. If I could try any food from a book or series, it would be anything from Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit by C. S. Lewis.
  25. The author (dead or alive) I’d most like to spend a day with is C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien.
