Julie Handy is a member of the Alpha Pi Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta at Dixie State University and is the Far Western Region Student Representative. She is entering her senior year and will graduate with her Bachelor’s degree in English. Julie grew up in a small town in Utah where everybody really does know her name. Here she learned to fly fish on the Green River, play basketball and volleyball, and never to leave home without a good book in hand. She graduated with fourteen kids in her high school class. Her dream is to go to law school and travel the world.
