Meet Jennifer Harris

Jennifer Harris is the Associate Student Representative for Sigma Tau Delta’s Southern Region. She is majoring in English and minoring in journalism at the University of North Georgia. When she’s not studying, Jennifer enjoys reading, spending time with her pups, drinking all the coffee, spending time outdoors, and spending time at the library.

3. If I had to eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be bone-in, rare ribeye!
4. Growing up, I was sure I would be a pharmacist.
5. I know every word to the song “Please Take Me Home,” by blink-182.
6. The best gift I’ve ever received was my Nespresso machine.
7. My nickname in high school was Jenn.
8. If you find me in the kitchen, I’m typically whipping up chicken parm or banana bread.
9. I’m more of a reader.
10. The best paper title I ever created was “Sensation of Disquiet: A Grammatical and Rhetorical Analysis of H.P. Lovecraft’s ‘The Picture in the House’.”
11. The literary place I’d most like to visit is Warner Bros. Studio: The Making of Harry Potter in London.
12. My dream job is as a YA author.
13. An author I truly admire is Flannery O’Connor.
14. My go-to children’s book is Cookie Monster and the Cookie Tree, by David Korr.
15. The destination at the top of my travel bucket list is Switzerland.
16. My favorite part of being an English Major is reading ALL of the books.

19. My favorite place to buy books is the Books for Keeps annual book sale.
20. In 10 years, I’m betting that the big trend in literature will be modern gothic.

22. The last book I bought was The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows, and I have read it.
