Carie King is the Managing Editor of Publications for Sigma Tau Delta and a Chapter Advisor at The University of Texas at Dallas. She went to college as a math major and flipped to English so she could read great literature. Upon graduating (as a Sigma Tau Delta member, 1989), she began her career as a technical writer and medical editor. But with time, she determined to research her own interests. With that came graduate school and a new career. Now, she teaches rhetoric, writing, and communication and edits for fun.
