Allie Degner is the Midwest Region Associate Student Representative for Sigma Tau Delta and is also the Treasure of her chapter at Olivet Nazarene University. Allie is working toward a Bachelor’s Degree as a double major in English and Writing while being an avid violinist in her university’s orchestra and working for her school’s yearbook and art/literary magazine. Allie enjoys skateboarding and eating ice cream.

- My favorite part of being an English major is being able to view the world differently after being exposed to so many pieces of life-changing literature and taking the time to really analyze them thoroughly.
- The last book I read was Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I tried to read it when I visited her house in 5th grade but I was far too young to understand a lot of it so I decided to pick it back up again.
