Alex McCarron attends Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV, and is the 2019-2020 Eastern Region Associate Student Representative. She has presented papers at both regional and international conferences (on works ranging from the Book of Job to the short stories of Isak Dinesen). Her interests include folklore (especially ghost stories!), Russian literature, musicals, children’s books, and history.
