Meet Julianne Ford

Julianne Ford is the Student Representative for the Southwestern Region of Sigma Tau Delta. She is currently a senior at Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU) in Shawnee, OK, pursuing a BS in English Education and a minor in Art. In addition to reading and writing, Julianne loves to run, hike, garden, paint, draw, and fish.

6. The best gift I’ve ever received was a trip to Grand Cayman.
7. My nickname in high school was Juli.
8. If you find me in the kitchen, I’m typically whipping up a Veggie Burger.
9. I’m more of a reader.
10. The best paper title I ever created was “So Much Depends Upon the Landscape.”
11. The literary place I’d most like to visit is Walden Pond.

16. My favorite part of being an English major is getting to talk about how fictional characters feel and think for college credit.
17. The last book I read was Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace.
18. My favorite book is On the Road by Jack Kerouac.
19. My favorite place to buy books is Half Price Books.
20. In 10 years, I’m betting that the big trend in literature will be graphic novels.
21. My first job was Student Worker.
22. The last book I bought was How to Be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi, and I have read it.
23. The celebrity I’d most like to spend a day with is Emma Watson, so we can dance.
24. If I could move anywhere in the world, I’d live in California.
